Bring Carmine D’Amore, our new preferred hairstylist, as part of your glam squad to the Deity Suite to start your Brooklyn Wedding at Deity Events off right! You might have heard the phrase, “Invest in your hair, because it’s the crown you never take off.” Needless to say, on your wedding day your hair is something you can’t afford to take a risk on. Deity Events wanted to share with you Hair By Carmine with a proven track record to make your ‘crown’ rival the Queens.
I’m a bridal hairstylist that’s passionate about what I do and look forward to making every bride feel like the center of attention on the most important day of their life. I love doing bridal hair, and I truly enjoy the creative aspect of helping my clients find the perfect look.
Do you have a preference on doing bridal hair up or down?
I love doing bridal hair both both up and down, depending on the bride.
How do you help the bride stand out on her wedding day?
A thorough trial consists of finding out more about the bride’s vision, dress design and how they feel most comfortable wearing their hair. I typically do multiple styles with them until we get to that “LOVE” moment.
Do you have a favorite relaxed look for a bride?
I absolutely love Old Hollywood waves. This hairstyle is a classic choice when paired with a matching wedding gown, and is also a fantastic option for any celebration. If a bride is looking for a classic yet elegant style and feels comfortable wearing her hair down, this look can be dynamite.
Do you have a favorite formal look?
A smooth chignon is such a regal hairstyle that looks amazing on everyone.
What is one hair tip you give your clients?
Your hair shouldn’t be competing with your dress. It should complement it. If you dress has an open and dramatic back, wear your hair up or to the side. If you dress is dramatic, soft waves or curls half up or down can perfectly complement your look. What’s most important is feeling comfortable, and finding the harmony between your appearance and state of mind.
Where do you get most of your inspiration from?
Pinterest, magazines and the celebrity red carpet are full of the best modern and classic styles. When it comes to hairstyles, the possibilities are almost endless.
How much does a bridal hair do typically cost?
Brides $250 for day-of / $150 for trial
What is the price for brides maids?
Do you have a couple of hairstyles that are really on trend right now and you like to do?
Fishtail braids, vintage waves, chignons and beach waves are my go-to faves.
